Investigations LLC was founded by Timothy Oleksiak and Robert Mckay as a way to develop a better client
experience in the realm of security complexities. The word Paragon is defined as “a model or pattern of excellence” which was chosen to
reflect the partners belief that only the highest standards of professionalism and consistency are acceptable. To create that pattern the
company implemented the core values of Integrity and discreetness in order bring exceptional value in their services for all clients.
Our philosophy is to provide security and consulting services which result in useable, real world solutions for our clients. We are committed to producing straight forward and understandable solutions that assist the client in creating a roadmap for implementation and compliance. At the end of the investigation our clients receive a complete high-level overview of the entire investigation/consultancy along with a breakdown of recommendations/solutions that address the root causes which created the issue.
Our Agents of the company
come from a combination of backgrounds including Anti-Terrorism, Military, FBI, Certified Fraud Examiners, Forensic Accountants,
Department of Homeland Security, US Marshalls, Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Fraud Investigators. Each Agent is considered a Subject
Matter Expert in his or her discipline and has expertise in working complex investigations and private consulting projects.
Robert McKay II
Mission Critical Investigative and Security Services
Robert McKay is a decorated combat veteran and an equally decorated law enforcement professional. He brings 27 years of experience of conducting complex and detailed investigations to his position.
As a lead investigator, McKay has conducted numerous long-term investigations into the illegal distribution of narcotics. McKay's expertise includes identifying individuals, patterns of behavior, storage, concealment, and trafficking. He is adept at investigating local and nationwide money laundering of illegal proceeds.
McKay's efforts have led to hundreds of individuals indicted and convicted on the local, state, and federal levels. He was recently
instrumental in the investigation of bank fraud suspects which involved the examination of hundreds of individuals defrauding small and
large businesses and banking institutions in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
His military training from the Marine Corps includes
anti-terrorism and security. McKay's Law Enforcement career also includes advanced training in the enterprise theory of investigations,
RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations), and CCE (Continuing Criminal Enterprise).
Moreover, McKay has several years of experience in NIMS, Electronic Surveillance, and Interview and Interrogations. He has worked with numerous state and federal agencies on collaborative cases as a law enforcer and ended his career assigned to an Organized Crime Task Force for the state of Ohio.
Tim Oleksiak
Tim Oleksiak, a decorated law enforcement professional, brings to Paragon a well-established reputation and background in managing major
projects and personnel. Oleksiak has been responsible for multi-agency coordination of criminal investigations, agency restructuring,
physical plant (building) security and personal executive protection.
Oleksiak served as Chief Deputy of the largest Sheriffs Office in Ohio managing 1100 employees with an operating budget of ninety-five million dollars. As Director of an Ohio Attorney Generals Organized Crime Task Force in the Cleveland area, he brought together federal, state, local and private agencies to oversee large scale multi state investigations.
Oleksiak’s many years of expertise include, Detective Sergeant responsible for coordinating all types of criminal investigations, SWAT, Hostage Negotiator, Child Abduction Response Team, and Deputized United States Marshal. He has specialized training in NIMS (National Incident Management System), and the REID School of interview and interrogation.
